Brian's place was lovely to stay at! The view and surroundings were beautiful on the lake.We made a fire but had trouble starting it so I would recommend bringing your own starter and kindling. The rental is situated right near a Christian camp with private residences with a 11pm curfew. Brian was very responsive. There is a lovely waking path and crepe restaurant on the lake we went to twice! We went to Frog-Level Brewery for dinner in Waynesville and it was a great atmosphere! Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay! We had planned to spend more time in Asheville but chose to stay in Lake Junaluska and Waynesville because there was so much to do and so many great restaurants to try. It was so great that we could walk around the lake and go to the water to rent kayaks and paddle boards without having to get in the car. The patio space was a great outdoor oasis where we could read while looking out at the lake. Definitely plan to return next time we are in the area!

Tucked away in a Methodist camp, this hideaway had a lovely view and was super quiet— we slept so well here! Convenient to Waynesville and about a 30 min drive to Asheville, it is a good base for a visit to western NC.
