Brian's home was an amazing place to stay and visit Lake Junaluska and the surrounding area. It was peaceful, within a short walk to the lake and had access to all the amenities that we would need. Downtown Waynesville with many shops and restaurants was within a 10-15 minute drive, as well as great grocery store options. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway was nearby as well and the highlight of our stay. With a modern, spacious layout, 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, and a full sized kitchen and dining room, this was one of the best AirBnb's we have stayed. We will surely book this home again!

This was our first visit to Lake Junaluska. The house was situated on a lovely no thru street with the entrance to the Native Plant Garden a few houses away. The Lake was also a very short walk and has a walking trail that goes all the way around. It was a perfect morning walk. The house was exactly as pictured, historic in nature but with upgraded, modern kitchen and baths. The whole area was very peaceful and relaxing. Waynesville’s historic downtown is only about 10 mins away and has many great restaurants, coffee houses, and breweries if you want to step out of the serenity of the Lake neighborhood. The other valley towns of Magggie Valley, Cherokee, Bryson City, and Sylva are an easy drive for further exploration. If you’re a hiker, there is a Blue Ridge Parkway entrance a short distance down the road and many great nearby hikes….the mountains are beautiful. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful, but also with lots to do. Brian was five stars +. We will definitely be back!
